HealthCraft Dependa-Bar from HealthyKin.com is a revolutionary combination of standard wall mounted grab bar, with the well proven benefits of the SuperBar™ for movable support. Designed for bathrooms and other environments where grab bars are found.
Pivoting & Locking Technology
Dependa-Bar™ locks every 45° (5 positions), providing a support rail that moves with user.
Ease of Installation
Mounts securely to structural studs behind bathtub wall of any construction (fiberglass, plastic, tile wall, etc.). Bolt pattern compatible with WingIts® Fastening System (sold separately) if wall stud spacing does not allow for direct mounting.
Reversible
Bottom grab bar can be mounted for either left or right side applications.
Versatile
Can be installed in the bathtub or beside the toilet.
Water Resistant
Stainless steel construction provides an easy to clean, durable grab rail that can be safely exposed to water.
ADA Compliant
Fixed horizontal grab bar (1¼" dia) has 1½" clearance from wall. When locked against the wall, the Dependa-Bar™ is aligned with the fixed horizontal grab bar.
Optional Bath Board
Maximize bathing safety with a beautifully contoured plastic seating surface that includes a soap dish and handle. Fits most standard bathtub widths (15"-25"/40-60cm).

Pivot Rail Length
"P" shaped dual rail extends 20"/51cm length from bathtub wall (5"/13cm spacing between horizontal rails). Locks every 45° (5 positions).
Horizontal Grab Bar
1¼"/3.175cm grip diameter. 1½"/3.81cm clearance from wall (ADA compliant). Height adjustable at time of installation, typically 4"/10cm from top of bathtub surface. Stainless steel construction.

18"/46cm (accomodates standard stud spacing of 16" from center to center) and 32"/81cm lengths available.
Rail Material
Stainless steel construction. Available as knurled stainless steel and white powder coat finish.

- 5 locking positions - lift to unlock dual rail, keep rail up to move freely, let rail down to securely lock in place. Stand to shower, lean over to adjust shower controls or use when lowering into the tub. Easy to use ladder-like support for getting on and off the toilet.
- Safe bathtub entry - dual rail extends 20"/51cm from wall to provide a weight bearing surface for safe entry and exit from the bathtub.
- Installs like a grab bar - mounts securely to structural studs with 3 contact points for added strength. Bottom grab bar is reversible for a left or right side installation.
- Stainless steel construction. Unlike zinc or chrome plated grab bars that can chip and rust, the Dependa-Bar™ will never rust.
Note: The Dependa-Bar™ should only be installed in areas where the mounting surface is structurally sound. If you are not equipped to undertake the outlined work we recommend that you have your Dependa-Bar™ installed by a qualified contractor. The Dependa-Bar™ must be secured to wall with fasteners appropriate to the structural material. Fasteners must be rated for certain retention force each for maximum weight capacity (see within for recommendations). Mounting fasteners should be inspected monthly and tightened if necessary. Rail is capable of supporting a maximum suggested user weight of 325lbs/147kg.
