It didn't work out for my wife very well. It did not come with the promised FREE Carrying case,Nothing like having her try to carry a big orange board in her lap as i wheeled her to motel rooms , made her feel more Noticeable and awkward as she is new to wheel chair life, we asked motel for a black garbage bag to tote it back out with. maybe she will try to use it more but we needed it for travel to help with car and motel transfer out of her chair all summer to visit her dying mother who has now just passed away. the orange board sits around, she has not even asked to try to use it anymore. I not writing to bash.just our experience and was sent request by company to review so thats my review.

Great board. My mom recently had a fall and is getting ready to go home. This is a little slick but once you get used to it it's easy to use.

My hubby is a recent amputee (left below knee amputation) complicated with a wound on the right calf from a ruptured Baker's cyst. Since he's not yet able to bear full weight on his good leg, the curved design, slick surface, and weight capacity of the curved Beasy transfer board has made it possible and safe for him to transfer to and from multiple places including uphill and downhill transfers. The curve allows us to set up awkward transfers. He directs his slide from a wheelchair into a car seat, for instance, by setting the ends on both seats and the curve arcing out slightly. Bob feels more secure than he did on the straight lined rectangular boards available in the hospital. He selected and practiced on a curved plastic board at the skilled nursing facility. When planning for his discharge, we checked the internet for a curved transfer board and were delighted to find Healthy Kin's antimicrobial wooden version at a reasonable price. Another plus for us, is that the Beasy Board is made in the U.S.A. We found a well designed product we wanted and we were able to buy American.
