      Be sure to read the directions for applying the stabilization device. I did not and it did not stay good. I now can leave it for a month, which is when we change everything else. The company says it is good for 7 days, but it can last a month and maybe longer. Longer probably is not good for the skin, but no complaints of pain, itch, or any uncomfortable feeling and no redness around patch. Read the directions for applying the stabilization device.

      The 102 "breathes' better than the other Statlocks. The foam backed one causes great irritation on the skin if worn over a long period of time. We had to search for new patches of thigh! Wish we'd found 102 a long time ago.

      I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the immediate service. THE statlock IS VERY GOOD. It holds THE TUBE IN PLACE Comfortably. I open the LOCK ON IT WHEN my HUSBAND goes TO BED AT NIGHT TO PREVENT pressure ON THE TUBE LAYING down. IT DOES NOT EFFECT THE CATHETER IN ANY WAY. HEALTHY KIN HAS GREAT PRODUCTS.

      I get my statlock thru my home health and I never had a problem until the last month.None of them will stay locked and it drives me nuts tugging on my catheter and at times it is quite painful. Have you changed suppliers recently?

      The adhesive just did not stay stuck for long enough. it only lasted about 12-16 hours.And it itched a great deal and left a red rash on skin. Patients skin was properly prepared,(IE)clean and dry.

      Put a new one of these on & one of the cloth ones on the same day so I could rotate back & forth every other day. It out lasted the cloth back one by several days. Of course it helps to read all of the directions. I had gone right past the part that said I should wrap the cloth one with Saran Wrap when showering. I'm sure it will make a big difference. Had been afraid to use this one because it is mostly adhesive. I'm allergic to regular medical adhesive tape & have to use the paper tape. But, I didn't get any swelling or the usual reactions.

      We are actually using this to keep my husband's feeding tube stable and not getting caught on clothing. After his stroke, one of the nurses in rehab came up with the idea to use this instead of tape and it has been wonderful and gentle on his skin. Easy to order and quick delivery.       Post op, I had a very bright nurse who had a great idea. Secured to my thigh, the catheter was ok during the day. At night, though, when I moved around in my sleep there was too much pulling and tension when I moved my legs around. Her solution was to use two statlocks. She added a second one to my abdomen. The switch-over was quick and easy, and allowed me to sleep more comfortably. When morning came it was easy to switch back to the original statlock.

      Using silicone catheters. If leg bag or drainage bag jammed in tightly enough, the statlock does not stay closed. If connection loosened to keep clamp closed, the bag can disconnect. Has happened 3 times now. :(
