I love this product! I have severe back problems and can't get up and down from the chair or couch very well. But with this product, I can grab on to the cane part of the product and help myself up with ease. I also like to work crossword puzzles and look at magazines, but trying to do this on the arm of the couch was causing me pain in my back. With this product, I have the books on the table in front of me, as well as a place to put my coffee cup. It also helps to be able to rest my arms on the table when I'm doing the crossword puzzles. I can pull the table as close to me as I need to be comfortable, and then push it easily away whenever I need to get up. I wish I had had this product years ago. I'm 77 years old, and I feel that this product is giving me a few more years of independence. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read or do paper work while sitting in their easy chair. I give it 5 stars.
