      I have been in a Wheel Chair since fresh out of high-school in 1975. In '77 I developed DU on Rt. Buttock that ended up requiring rotation flap and a year on my stomach. Bad surgeon. Bottom line any time I scraped my butt I would lay around til healed which after 3 days and u sat up for 20 minutes the scab would come off and back to square one. A lot of wasted time. I was introduced to these 4 years ago after having rotor cuff surgery due to overuse. And the hospital PT had me transfer over on a porta-potty type commode and didn't realize as they drug me across it that the surface was rough which ended up taking part of my right buttock cheek with it. I thought I was doomed to go to rehab since now instead of a therapy situation I would be a medical situation which would not be covered by insurance. But the Dr. slapped one of these on me and said 30 minutes sitting/30 seconds off and continued with my rehab. I was very, very skeptical. But within 4 days it was healed completely and I was able to sit up during the entire healing process. Damn where were these patches back in '75? Great product for any type of wound care that may be subject to skin breakdown due pressure.

      I actually use the 4x4 size to put on my Mom's heel to pad it. She has a large venous stasis ulcer on her ankle near her heel. Her heel becomes tender and this dressing does the trick. Very good quality. Fair price.
