      This is the 2nd one I’ve had in 2 years. The first and the Recent one do not stay tight when in use. Today walking through the Library of Congress in DC on a tour, I had to tighten it 3 times. The first one that my daughter has purchased did the exact thing consistently. The other issue was the really poor quality of the rubber tip. I began to hear a tap as I walked. The center smaller part had worn off. The cane my daughter bought was to replace mine which was stolen. I then bought a new one to replace it thinking the one she got was just a fluke. Well I got the exact one . I haven’t had it very long. Quality of item is very disappointing. The loosening of the screw while being used is very frustrating.
