      My handicapped husband is 6'6", 2 bad knees and hip issues. He has used this product for years. With it's portability it's so easy to carry with us everywhere and makes it easy for him to get from chairs of any height. I recently purchased another for my 101yr old father who is only 5'9" but has difficulty getting up from chairs at his advanced age and he loves it!

      It takes a little 'getting used to' but is substantially as advertised. I am 84 and have two 'bad' knees. I like the fact that I can use it in several chairs since I do not spend all my time in one chair in front of the TV!

      After reading the instructions, we putting the correct weight, was too strong didn't work. We put less weight and helps working, but is not smooth, actually my mom is afraid to use it. We don't know if after certain use is going to be smooth or not. It's not what we are thought.
