The product works well. The packet contains quite a bit of iodine and the box should always be stored with the padded ends down. During shipping the boxes likely are facing all directions so wait a day or two with boxes properly stored before opening any packets. Carefully cut the packet top with a scissors while holding it vertically . If you cut 1/2 way across from one side and then turn it and cut from the other side, you can minimize any mess. You can use a tissue or wipe to clean off the projecting ends of the stick. If you don’t use all three right away, fold the packet around the sticks and secure with a package clip keep the remaining applicators from drying out as quickly.

Difficult to open without spewing iodine everywhere. Not only does the sponge tip have a generous amount, but the foil packet seems full. Even when opening very carefully, I have spilled it on walls, floors, and clothing. I won't be ordering any more.
