When you receive the stool there is a warning not to use the stool on slippery surfaces. I wish I knew this in advance. Such as tile and other flooring. The rubber grip at the corner of the step is the size of a pencil eraser diameter. There are other rubber strips that are very thin. Even driveways or parking lots that have a sealant can be slippery. We modified the step to add better grips to ensure the step does not slide when we climb in out of our SUV and other vehicles.

This product is doing everything I needed it to do. I have difficulty getting up the step into my 4Runner and this gives me the little boost to get up there on the first try. It is convenient to keep in my car and I put a strap in the handle so I can lift it into my car after I am in. Both the price was very reasonable and the step is made of a high quality material that will last.

It works, but the folding part in the middle sticks out farther than the sides/legs making it unstable/wobbly.
