      Yes this pillow seems very hard at first but does get softer after squeezing it all around and using it the first week. I’m a side sleeper, the Polyurethane stays the shape and supports my neck all night. I don’t like memory foam pillows because you sink into them through the night !

      Much too hard to be a pillow to rest your head on. I am using it as a pillow to rest my legs on. If the manufacturer made a soft or even reasonably firm version of this pillow I would buy it.

      This pillow is by no stretch of the imagination soft and pliable. Upon opening the box, I could see thru the plastic that it was a stiff egg crate pillow. Without removing the plastic, I placed it on a chair and sat on it. It was like sitting on a brick wall... hard-as-a-rock! I'm 200lbs and the pillow didn't "give" even a tiny bit! I see from the return policy that pillows can't be returned. So I've placed this wrapped pillow in my Goodwill donation box. Hopefully, someone can use it.
