I am wearing 2 socks on the foot with the boot. I put a tall sock on, add 2 pads from the Dr. then put on the second sock and fold the top down on the inside sock over the pad then pull the 2nd sock up to lock it all in. I was getting black and blue and sore where the boot top hits. It is so much better than the Frankenstein. Lot the ER issued that was impossible to walk in. Only 2 weeks in.

Heavy, and bulky. Well made and helps protect your foot but be sure to wear something with much height on your other foot or you will have bad back problems.
