      I had high hopes for this pillow; it looked great, but it is hard as a rock. I tried it for 3 nights and each morning i woke up with a horrible neckache. The pillow is just too hard - it puts too much pressure on my neck without any give to it. i would not recommend this purchase, especially since it cannot be returned and it is VERY expensive. I am now stuck with an $85.00 pillow that I cannot use :(

      Though I used the (PDF) measuring ruler from Therapeutica, the "Average" pillow my wife and I got was too small. (Never used, just checked once with pillow case). The HealthyKin purchase page does say that this item is non-returnable, but it's stated at the bottom, where it will not be seen if you just click to buy without scrolling all the way down. This is messed up, and we now paid for a pillow we can't really use. We sure won't be purchasing a larger one (or maybe two) from Healthy Kin!

      I have torticollis. My message therapist recommended this pillow. I love it. I tend to sleep on my side and the pillow elevated me enough to relieve pressure on my shoulder as well as my neck. It is great!

      The position I need for my neck for sleep is very specific because of some degenerative cervical disease, so it took a couple weeks to get used to this pillow, but it will be a keeper. I sleep well with it and it is comfortable for side sleeping as well, even though I seldom try to sleep that way due to my CPAP mask. A deep tissue massage therapist recommended the pillow and I am so thankful he did!

      I can sleep without this pillow! I have been having neck problems since I was 19 and I tried every pillow on the market. This pillow is the only one that is very comfortable and I have no neck pain. I am now 52! Been using this pillow for years now and I would highly recommend this pilllow.

      This product has been a real relief for my neck and shoulder issues right from Day1 of its arrival! I suffer from bulging discs in my C5-C7 cervical vertebrae. I also have Cubital Tunnel Symptoms in my left elbow which affects my shoulder, arm and hand as well. This basically comes down to not being able to sleep properly every night. This pillow Has changed all of that for me. My sleep is more restful and my days are a lot more active. I can also sleep on my sides with this pillow. Something that I just couldn’t do before. And Healthy Kin’s service is just incredible! I literally received the pillow in a day and a half!! I would highly recommend this company and this product to those who have issues similar to mine and have not had a good night’s rest for months (like me).

      I have had neck and shoulder issues for some time now. After the first night I slept on it, I woke up with the body pain back. I used it for 2 weeks thinking that I had to adjust myself to hit but I had to stop. I am now back at my massage therapist and chiropractor weekly.

      The perfect pillow for me! I've been seeing a chiropractor for headaches caused by misalignment of my neck and lower back. He suggested a pillow that would take 2 weeks to adjust to. Well, I really needed sleep and didn't want to take 2 weeks to adjust, and the reviews on that pillow were not good. My massage therapist suggested Therapeutica Pillow , and I could not be happier. It seems to help in correcting the curvature and has eliminated my headaches. By the second night, I was adjusted! I've suggested it to others who are having problems and hope that they will buy one so they can experience sweet sleep. Thank you!

      I looked into this pillow to help with my neck pain. I sleep on my back and sides. I used their measuring chart (5 1/2" from side of neck to edge of my shoulder) and it said I need an Average size pillow. I'm a petite person, so I wish I got the petite size. When I received the average sized pillow and tried it out with a towel covering it so that my skin did not make contact with it at all. I contacted the customer service department and asked to exchange it, however they said it was nonreturnable. I'm unhappy with the product. Very uncomfortable and size chart is NOT true. The foam is also very firm, which is okay for me because I don't like my face being smothered by pillows. I don't want to waste my money again by purchasing a smaller sized pillow if it's' nonreturnable. Poor customer service/satisfaction.

      The pillow did not work for me. It was too high and my neck was incredibly sore and stiff the next morning. Sometimes, I would wake up in the middle of the night with a headache because of my neck pain. An expensive pillow for no relief.

      Love this Pillow! I have always had serve headaches & neck pain since my car accident in 1998. I started using the Therapeutica Sleeping Pillow in 2001 & it is the only Pillow I can sleep with since. This has been my 4th Pillow that I have purchased since my car accident & I will NEVER switch to any other Pillow.       I bought this for my husband. I had to cut off the protruding neck piece for him as it was irritating his neck. Then I had to cut holes in the end caps for his ears as the pillow hurt his ears. He is a pretty buff guy, but the average is a bit thick for him. It does help him to not snore - so that is a plus. Otherwise he wouldn't use it. I tried it and I don't like it either.

      The pillow may or may not be helpful. It is an individual experience. I did not find it comfortable. That in and of itself is not that big of a deal. The problem is that you CANNOT return this pillow. It is in the Return Policy which I did not read. So, either be very, very sure you want this pillow or buy it from another vendor who will allow you to return it.

      As the others have said, it DOES take getting used to. It is awkward at first, especially turning on your side and placing your head a good distance on the outer edge near the end of your pillow. After you get used to it...it IS comfortable and will help your neck feel better. I felt $20 shipping was a bit much, but the pillow itself is nice.

      I have a pinch nerve in my neck and I was looking for a pillow that would help stabilize my cervical spine it helped tremendously it takes some getting use to but when you do well worth it the pain in my arm has stopped along with stretches I learned to do feel much better improve the cervicle cuvre in your neck an your posture and if you have a pinched nerve it definitely works great pillow

      I bought the first pillow a year ago. The pillow has brought a lot of relief and therefore better sleep. I am a side sleeper. But with this pillow I can actually fall asleep on my back.       Although the concept of the pillow makes sense, I tried it for 2 or 3 hours and ended up with more pain in my neck then I ever had. My husband then tried it, using it for about a week and he said he could sleep with it but didn't see a whole lot of difference from his regular pillow. Maybe I didn't give it enough time, maybe I had the wrong size, but I decided the pillow I have is good enough for me. I'm glad it works for others.

      As somebody who has owned multiple expensive pillows, and has been disappointed with most of them, I put this in my top 2. I had a side sleeper pillow that was basically a U-shape from Hammacher Schlemmer, but stopped being able to use it once my body decided it wanted to roll onto its back. This pillow seems to be the only one that is made for both. This is a very technical pillow. The side sleeper portion even has a shallow space for your ears! The pillow allows you to naturally roll onto your back while asleep. I have been using it for about 3-4 weeks now and enjoy it. The foam did not smell for more than a few hours. Almost fits in a standard case. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is difficult to roll on to your side once you are on your back, which causes me to wake up a little (but I am very restless sleeper who tosses and turns). Only one day did my neck hurt (a common prob with all my other pillows). I do recommend giving it a try!!

      I am a side sleeper and find this pillow very hard and uncomfortable. It also seems to restrict my breathing so it is difficult to relax. Thus I can't sleep when using it. The most I've been able to stand it is around 3 hours and though my neck felt better I was very tnese and sleepless!

      After another memory foam pillow failed me, I researched other options and decided to give this pillow a try. I have a bad back and an even worse neck. This pillow is amazing because it doesn't "give" like memory foam. It provides support for your entire neck and head. I will say that I sleep better on my side and I cannot sleep on my side comfortably with this pillow, but it's a good thing because I don't need to be sleeping on my side. After of month of use, I got my old pillow so I could sleep on my side and I woke up in extreme neck pain. Something I haven't done since getting the Therapeutica Pillow. Took some getting used to, but won't sleep a night without it ever again!

It took only two nights for me to become accustomed to it, and I look forward not only to a great sleep but waking with no pain. I recommended it to a friend and she ordered one.       This is my fourth or fifth Therapeutica. It's the one thing that keeps me comfortably supported while sleeping on my side. I do tend to wear one side out faster than the other, something to watch for. I am a massage therapist and recommend these to clients often, generally with good success. (It goes into the luggage first when traveling too!)

      Since receiving this pillow I have slept more hours per night and have slept more hours per night on my back than before. I like the firmness, but it is not painfully firm like some pillows. Be sure you measure correctly going down the size if you are right on the edge of the measurement, like they instruct. My husband didn't do that and his pillow is a bit to tall for him, but he is trying to get used to it. He said next time he would have gone to the smaller size. It has also helped our shoulder soreness from sleeping on our sides. GREAT PILLOW DESIGN!

      This pillow is awesome! Yes, it looks weird. But it totally supports your neck and head. I love sleeping on my side, but find most pillows don't have adequate support to maintain neck alignment. This one does. Goodbye headaches! I find the back sleeping space in the middle quite relaxing. I wasn't initially so sure about that design, but it's actually fantastic. All in all, this pillow really helps to relieve all those stress points from the curves and twists of my scoliosis. I highly recommend this pillow!

      I love this pillow it was recommended to me by my chiropractor. It supports my neck rather I am on my back or on my side sleeping. I don't go anywhere without it. I have even two of my daughters that now use this pillow as well. I have had a bad neck pain for years due to a car accident from 30 years ago and partly from the two jobs I have had for over 20 years, hairdresser and office work (typing all day) two of the worst jobs to have for neck and shoulder pain. This pillow has been one of the best purchases I have ever made!

I have a grandchild and often felt sharp pains in my wrist and top of my hand when I would pick her up and was afraid I would drop her. My back and especially between my shoulder blades was extremely tight and my massage therapist helped but it never went away. Over the years it got worse and worse. I tried yoga and weights and they helped but not completely. Who would have thought it was my pillow causing all these problems! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We have both had excellent results using this pillow. One important thing she told us was that it could take up to several weeks for the body to get used to it.       I am rating it a 4 because it takes a bit getting used to it, especially for me. The pillow itself is a bit hard. I will not give up though, as I am getting more used to it every day I go to bed. I am a side sleeper and it is sometimes hard for me to get a good fit into the sides. I think, with use, it will conform to me to my liking.

      Great pillow! I find it very comfortable to go from side sleeping to back sleeping and back again. I swear by it and have even bought the travel pillow. Be sure you get the correct size, however. The first one I bought was a large because I measured for that size...barely. Later, somewhere, I read that if you are on the edge between 2 sizes you should go with the smaller one. I whole heartedly agree.

      I have been going to the chiropractor for a little over a month. Had some serious pain in my shoulder. It was due to being out of alignment. Honestly it wasn't until I bought this pillow that I actually started to feel relief! Getting adjustment really just wasn't enough for me. The pillow did take a few nights to get used to (Just because the pillow is kind of awkwardly shaped). I have heard from word of mouth and from reading different reviews that for the first little while this pillow could hurt until your spine adjusts right. But for me, I literally felt 5 times better the very next day! I'm not saying that is for everyone. My mother said it took her a while to get used to and it hurt for the first bit, but after she can't sleep without this pillow. I don't think I could go back to a normal pillow. However, with all that being said, personally I think even the petite size may be an inch or two too high for me. But I would assume a child's pillow would just be too small. And it is working so that's what matters.

Asked a friend of mine if she thought I sounded foolish for considering buying such an expensive pillow to help with my neck problem. She asked, "How much is the pillow? How much is surgery? Even if it only helps a little, you're relief is certainly worth the price of that pillow." Bought the pillow and glad I did. The shape of the pillow makes it comfortable for my head and neck and has helped me break the sleeping on my belly habit. The support both my head and neck receive allows me to fall asleep without strain to the neck and I'm not waking up with the usual stiffness. Side sleeping is also possible because of the support. I find I am more rested because I sleep longer and more deeply. I do exercises I learned in physical therapy to help me comfortably through my days; but at night, it's the Therapeutica Sleeping Pillow that takes me to dreamland. Works for me! P.S.-I read all the reviews and was careful to use the guide to measure to get the perfect size for me.

      Got this pillow for my wife. From day one she says it has helped her neck pain tremendously. She has been going to a chiropractor for at least 4 weeks 2-3 times weekly, which has helped, but the pillow has been the topper and has given her final relief. BTW, for anybody interested, her neck pain originated from bad posture and her neck curvature was opposite of what it should be. The pillow seems to correct her curvature while she sleeps, which in turn relieves tension in her neck and shoulder muscles and joints.
