      Used to help re-expand a 30% collapsed lung. Hydration, good nutrition and this incentive spirometer worked in 2 weeks. I avoided surgery and an additional chest tube. Excellent tool for avoiding pneumonia too.

      I ordered 3 volumetric exercisers, received my order within days. They came with the instructions as well as a progress chart (that you can make copies of). I used it the same day I received it. I was wheezing a little, so much phlegm came up (I know TMI). Today May 7th my lungs are clear. For maintenance I will continue to use this as a daily routine. Very satisfied with this company and this product. Because the coronavirus attacks the lungs, I wanted my family and friends to keep their lungs healthy and strong...what better way than to use the Spirometer.       Bought for my 95-year-old grandfather whose mobility became limited after a recent fall. He developed a wheeze, and I feared he would get pneumonia. In an effort to avoid advancement of this illness, I bought this incentive spirometer. He uses it several times a day. It's the only real time he takes a deep breath, allowing the alveoli in the lower lobes of his lungs to clear and allow for gas exchange thus prevent pneumonia. It's effective because the visual effect of the dial rises and falling shows him how deep and shallow his breaths are. The wheezing has cleared up, but we are going to continue using the incentive spirometer daily to ensure pneumonia stays away.

      I was in accident back in 1984 and after i came out of my coma i used one of these to build my lungs back up and it worked great and now its 2018 and i want to build my lungs back up so i ordered a new one and im glad i did it works great ..
